Dear Board of Trustees and Mr Bird

I am writing to you with a request for new desks for our class room.

Firstly the tables we are currently using  are damaged, scratched and uncomfortable. therefore they are are an inadequate learning station With graffiti on desks this makes our room feel uninviting and not a respected place for learning.

Secondly without desks and with tote trays every time we go to get books and stationery the back of the class room it becomes cramped and congested. Making it a slower time to get ready to learn.

Equity is an important subject at this school. So it is only fair that we get equity for the standard of our class room too.  year 4 to 6 currently have lift up desks and both classes next to us have pull out desks.

These desks are inadequate as they are unsightly and uncomfortable. Please consider or request and make it happen for us.
