The big questions in life debates.

After we had finished with the tongue twisters we started our debates. therefore we played line debates were where the class is divided into two groups. which one line ague's with the topic and the other side goes against it. We were told to debate about boys being better than girls, would school be better without teachers, why we love One Direction (which to my luck I was against) and then why we love Justin Bieber (sadly I was with this) then we had the strangest topics of the contents of poo and if asparagus makes your pee smell. here they are above.

Toung Twistingly Painful

On Thursday our class started doing debating as a topic so to get our vocal chords warmed up we started doing tongue twisters eventually we were able to get our two best twister to have a face off to see who would win. Enjoy.

DARE: Day 2

Day 2 of the DARE programme was fun and educational. First we talked about strategies in life and making the right choices when it comes to friends. Also we talked about the different groups of drugs, both legal and illegal, and the different side effects and dangers. We all learned a lot! Here are some pictures.

My art drawing

This is a pice of drawing we did for 2nd perspective art. I enjoyed making the pathway and road. But got extremely frustrated with power polls of all things.

D A R E

Today was our first lesson with Constable Julie , a local police women who came to help the class with a inquiry topic called DARE. Dare is a three week corse about drugs, alcohol and making right choices. This lesson was to teach us about what we can do with our lives and putting us on the right pathway for life. We were told that who we were was plainly up to us. Then asked what our goal in life was. Personally mine was to open a recording studio, even though it is a declining business my honest obsession with music compels me to overcome those challenges.

The rest of this corse looks extremely fun and defiantly educational. Plus im sure will help in the future if we are faced with any life problems like drugs and alcohol.
